ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
We are over the moon to announce we have today received confirmation that we can host our Live music event in the market square celebrating St George's Day on Saturday 22nd April.
This year we will be raising money for The Royal British Legion.
More information will be announced in due course but we wanted to start to get the word out as we know many people missed out last year due to not seeing our advertising.

Just before Christmas we had a message from The Vale of Evesham School they were keen to help out with our coat campaign. Their 6th formers to be precise
They wanted to design some posters to advertise our coat rail and request donations.
Today I have received copies of their fantastic posters and they have already started collecting coats, scarves, hats and gloves.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank every single one of them and their teaching assistant, Maria, who contacted me.
What inspiration children wanting to help out those who need it and make a difference at such a young age.

The Valkyrie Bar is raising money for The Royal British Legion this year.
We have received a high level of donations from people of books so that we can sell and add to our charity pot.
We have set up a group on facebook where we are slowly adding the books in folders by author. We are asking for a minimum 50p donation per book.

Friday 6th January 2023
Today our Valkyrie Groups begin.
We have started different groups in order to bring people together for different reasons.
So you can make friends, speak to someone with common interests and most of all EVERYONE deserves to have someone to talk to and the chance to not be alone. We hope we can help combat loneliness even just a little bit.
We start today with our Mothers only group at 11am until 1pm and Knit and Natter Group at 1pm until 3pm.

WOW!!!! I don't know what else to say. You're all amazing.
You help out every opportunity you can when we try to do good for those who need it or raise money for charity.
Once again you've excelled yourselves.
In just 3 months we have managed to collect a whopping 294 bras to be sent off at the end of this month to raise money for Against Breast Cancer.
Don't worry if you haven't had a chance to donate and have some you wish to donate we will be starting this again in January.
A MASSIVE THANK YOU to each and every single one of you!!!

Our Coat Rail returns from today.
We welcome any donations of coats, hats, gloves and scarves. The rail will be located either outside or just inside the Valkyrie doors weather dependent.
If you are in need of a coat please feel free to take one, if you know someone who requires one please let them know and if you have anything to donate please feel free to pass to the member of staff working when you come in.

Today we took delivery of a bra bank. This is a bin like item that is now located just as you walk into The Valkyrie. We have signed up to collect old and surplus bra's to help raise money Against Breast Cancer. This exciting project not only keeps textiles out of landfill, it’s helping small businesses in Africa and raising vital funds for their ground-breaking research. Join us to help make a difference!
